This project was completed before the album Epiphany – The Best Of Chaka Khan vol. 1 was released in 1996.
For some reason, Warner Music Group decided to ignore all the hard work Chaka (and others!!) had put into the project by canceling its release, and then to release several of the songs on various Original Soundtracks.
Six songs from this project were released as ‘five new tracks plus bonus track’ on the 1996’s album Epiphany – The Best Of Chaka Khan vol. 1 and some songs appeared on songwriter’s Catalogue Albums.
